Ingredients used in LOUKOUMADES
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Honey - 1 tablespoon.
• Rose water - 1 tea spoon.
• All purpose flour - 1 cup.
• Yeast - 5-6 grams.
• Sugar powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Ghee - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - to fry.
• Cinnamon powder - 1 pinch.
Method:
  • In a pan add water, sugar boil to make a sugar syrup.
  • Once syrup is boiling add honey, rose water and mix it.
  • In a bowl add all purpose flour, yeast, sugar powder, ghee, little water and mix nicely to make a slakey dough, allow it prove for 45 to 1 hr.
  • Heat oil and drop in small dumpling with hand like as shown in video.
  • Deep fry and place in sugar syrup for 5 minutes, transfer into serving bowl and on top sprinkle cinnamon powder.

Now loukoumades is ready to serve.
