Mango mousse is a creamy, fluffy dessert with tropical flavor made with a mix of mango mango jelly and mango puree.

Recipe of Mango Mousse

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Straberry Or Cherry 8 Numbers
Cream 1 Pint
Sugar 50 Grams
Water 1/2 Cup
Mango Jelly(veg Friendly) 2 Numbers
Mango Puree 1 Can

Directions

  1. mix  warm water and  mango jelly and add it to mango puree and warm it up and bring it to room temperaturewhip the cream with little sugar .
  2.  fold in slowly with mango mixtureand mix pour in cups or bowls and set in fridge for an hr till the mixture is all set serve cold in the bowls or cups

Where can I find mango jelly powder in US? If it's pectin,what amount in ounces should I use ?

Hi sanjay,
Can't we use already whipped cream (for this as well as black forest cake recipe) available in grocery shops instead of whipping the cream manually or use electrical hand mixer?

I tried this recipe... but it remained as a liquid.. it did not set. i was not able to get a solid consistency even after keeping in teh fridge for an hour. how much pectin should i use ? what is measurement of pectin?

Hi Sanjay,

Can you please tell me what we could use instead of whipping cream as i have not seen that in stores in Bangalore. Also can you tell me the replacement of mango jelly ?
