Recipe of moon g dal khichdi

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Pulao Rice 500 Grams
Green Gram 225 Grams
Cinnamon 1 Piece
Cloves 6 Numbers
Fat 55 Grams
Onions 115 Grams
Turmeric 1 Pinch
Salt 10 Grams

Directions

1.Wash and soak gram for half an hour.

2.Wash and soak rice for 15 minuties.

3. Heat fat add sliced onion, spices and rice, dal salt, turmeric and double the amount of water.

4. stir and cover the vessel.

5. cook gently till rice is tender, and khitchdi is soft.

6. Granish with chopped coriander leaves as desired.
