Ingredients used in Mutton -65
• Lamb meat - 2 lbs.
• White onions - 2 numbers.
• Green chillies (thai peppers) - 2 numbers.
• Coriander seeds - 3 tablespoons.
• Cumin - 1 1/2 tablespoons.
• Black pepper corn - 1 tea spoon.
• Fenugreek seeds/ methi - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Chilli powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
Take tender lamb meat, cut into bite size chunks. In a pan add oil, onions and saute until the onions turn transparent. Add meat, turmeric powder, salt to taste , mix it well. Now let it cook three quarters with the lid on. Meanwhile, toast the whole spices slightly and grind to fine powder, once meat is cooked to that point, add chilli powder, ground spices and mix well. Serve hot as a side dish with dal chawal or as an appetizer.
