Description : hey folks...if u have left over small orange colored orange skins then dont throw them away...make them into yummy sambar..which is too heavenly with curd rice...colored oranges

Directions | How to make Orange Skin Sambar
 
step 1: pour gingelly oil in a pan and heat it step 2: to the oil add mustard seeds and allow it to pop step 3: add channa dal, asefotida, green chilli, diced orange skin and curry leaves and fry them step 4 soak tamarind pulp in water and leave it for some time step 5 pour tamarind water on the fried stuff and allow it to boil step 6: add sambar powder and salt step 7: add jaggery step 8: allow sambar to boil until it turns to a thick consistency step 9: remove and serve NOTE: The sambar can be taken along with rice, can be used as a side for curd rice
