THINGS REQUIRED: RAW RICE 2 CUPS URAD DHAL 1 CUP COCONUT MILK CARDAMOM 2 TO 3 JAGGERY 1/2 CUP PROCEDURE: SOAK RICE AND URAD DHAL FOR 2 HOURS AND THEN GRIND TO A FINE PASTE, NOT TOO WATERY BUT IN THE DAME CONSISTENCY AS WE DO FOR VADA. NOW FRY IT IN OIL AS WE FRY VADA AND KEEP THE FRIED PANIYARAMS ASIDE. NOW IN A VESSEL ADD SOME MILK AND LET IT BOIL. ONCE THE MILK BOILS , CHANGE THE FLAME TO LOW AND ADD COCONUT MILK ,CARDAMOM AND JAGGERY, NOW SWITCH OFF THE STOVE COMPLETELY. NOW SOAK THE PANIYARAMS ONE BY ONE IN THE COCONUT MILK MIXTURE . LET IT SOAK FOR 5 MINUTES. THE DELICIOUS MOUTH WATERING PANIYARAM IS READY TO EAT..IT'S AN EXCELLENT ALTERNATIVE TO ANY SWEET AND IS VERY VERY NUTICIOUS FOR KIDS.CAN BE SERVED AS BREAKFAST TOO.
