Recipe of Palakura(Spinach) Pulusu

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Jeera 1 Tablespoons
Mustard Seeds 1 Tablespoons
Besan 10 Tablespoons
Tamarind Patse 2 Tablespoons
Green Chillis 6 Numbers
Medium Size Onion(or)3-4 Nos Small Pearl Onions
Fresh Spinach 1 Bunch
Dry Red Chilli 2 Numbers
Clove Garlic 2
Curry Leaves 1 Springs
Oil
Salt For Taste

Directions

Process: Clean spinach and chop it finely..dice the onions if big,if small pearl onions can add whole onion.thinly slice green chillies...now take a deep skillet n add oil..now add mustard,jeera,red chilli when they satrs to splunter add garlic and curry leaves...now add onions and green chillies....fry them till they turn transculent...now add spinach..when spinach fall down add 12 cup water,tamarind paste,salt and let it simmer for 10 min with the lid closed.see is spinach is cooked if not let it simmer for few more min...now take besan in a bowl add some water mix well with out any lumps....now slowley add besen mix to the curry..this makes curry to thiken up....now its ready to serve hot with rice..
