Description : This is a variation of Kerala Pancake that you uploaded recently.

Directions | How to make Pancake - Sri Lankan Style
 
Filling: Heat sugar in a pan and caramalize it until it becomes slightly brown (be careful!) Add grated coconut, roasted cumin powder, cardamom and cinnamon powder. Cook in slow fire until all ingredients are well combined and becomes a dry paste. Cook pancakes, you can add turmeric powder to the batter to make it slightly yellow (for better visual effect) Place cooked pancake on a plate and using a spoon place some filling on a side of the pancake and roll it neatly. Serve hot, along with a hot cup of Ceylon tea!

About Pancake - Sri Lankan Style
Dear Sanjay, I love watching your videos and I have tried many recipes. Although I don't cook daily, I do it quite often. When I cook, my wife and kids know that they are in for a treat! I live in Colombo Sri Lanka and our dishes are similar to Indian food. I thought of sending the above recipe after watching your Kerala pancake video. The filling is different and you don't have to pour honey/syrup over the pancake. Recently I visited a friend of mine in Kerala and found many foods are similar but has a variation. Thanks, Saleem.
