Recipe of Paneer-Moong Dal Paratha

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Coriander Leaves To Taste
Moong Dal, Boiled And Ground To A Smooth Dry Paste 100 Grams
Grated Paneer 100 Grams
Chaat Masala 2 Teaspoons
Ghee 2 Tablespoons
Whole Wheat Flour 150 Grams
Green Chillies Chopped 4 Numbers
Oil 1 Teaspoons
Ginger (finely Chopped) 2 Teaspoons
Cumin Powder 1 Teaspoons
Salt To Taste


  1. Mix flour, salt and ghee to make a smooth dough.
  2. Heat oil in a fry pan, add cumin powder, green chillies & ginger and saute for a minute
  3. Add paneer and moong dal paste.
  4. Sprinkle chaat masala and coriander leaves.
  5. Saute till the mixture is dry and then leave to cool.
  6. Divide the dough and filing into equal proportions.
  7. Stuff the filling in the dough and roll out (1/2 cms thick)
  8. Place it on a heated tava.
  9. When it turns brown turn on the other side.
  10. Drizzle with ghee or oil all over.
  11. When it turns golden brown, remove and serve hot.
  12. Serve with yoghurt and mint chutney
