Ingredients used in Pesara Aloo Bonda
• Moong dal (pesara papu) - 1 cup.
• Green chillies - 3 number.
• Ginger sliced - 1 small.
• Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Potato (boiled) - 2 number.
• Red chili powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Amchur powder - 1-2 teaspoons.
• Corn meal flour - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
Method:
  • Soak moong dal in water and strain water and place it on cloth to remove moisture.
  • Take a mixie jar, add moong dal, green chillies, ginger, cumin seeds, salt and blend into coarse mixture without adding water.
  • Take a bowl, add boiled potato and mash it, add red chili powder, salt, amchur powder and mix it. Later take small dumpling and make round balls.
  • To moong dal mixture add corn meal flour and mix nicely.
  • Take small dumpling of moong dal mixture and make round flat shape and stuff the potato balls in center and close the edges to make round ball shape.
  • Heat oil and deep fry balls on medium flame till they become golden brown in color, then transfer into a plate.

Now ready to Pesara aloo bonda is serve with tomato ketchup.

good dish. nice twist of taste. but pls change ur pronunciation of potatoes. it is good to hear but repeated pronunciation give irritation.?
