1. Shell, de-vein and wash prawns and boil adding chilli powder, turmeric and salt in just enough water, to cook. 2. Blanch tomatoes, removes skin and slice. 3. Grind garlic and ginger into a smooth paste. 4. Chop onionspowder fennel. 5. Heat fat, add fennel, onions, ground ginger and garlic and curry leaves. Fry till onions are slightly browned and a good around emanates. 6. Add the tomatoes and fry for a minutes. 7. Add prawns and fry till quite dry.
