Directions | How to make Puff Rice (Borugulu Upma)
 
Take a big pan, heat it and add oil. Put mustard & cumin seeds, Add onions and fry till it turns brownish color. Add turmeric and Chillies( cut straight) and fry Add tomato chops, salt and fry till tomato becomes soft. Meanwhile soak puffed rice in water for 30 - 60 seconds, Put this puffed rice in the pan and mix it properly. Finally add the secret ingrediant Lemon Juice to the mixture. And your Vuggani is ready.
Serving Ideas
We can even sprinkle pappula podi (a mixture of chilli powder, garlic, dry coconut, salt and putnala pappulu).
