Ingredients used in DUM ALOO BHENDI MASALA
• Onion - 1 number.
• Cashew nuts - 4-5 numbers.
• Green chillies - 3-4 numbers.
• Oil - 5 tablespoons.
• Potato - 1 number.
• Okra - 8-10 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Cardamom - 3-4 numbers.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Fresh cream - 1 tablespoon.
Method:
  • Take a mixie jar and add boiled onions, cashew nuts, green chillies and blend into smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add potato fingers, okra, salt and cook with lid on it.
  • Transfer into a plate. In the same oil add cardamom, ginger garlic paste and saute it.
  • To it add smooth paste, water, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder and simmer it.
  • Add fried okra potato, fresh cream and mix nicely, place lid and cook it on dum process.

Now dum aloo bhendi masala is ready to serve with pulka or rice.
