Ingredients used in Keema Mutti Biryani
• Mutton - 300 grams.
• Garlic(finely chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chili powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Basmati rice - 2 cup.
• Caraway seeds - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Bay leaf - 2 number.
• Star anise - 1 number.
• Cinnamon stick - 1 number.
• Cloves - 4 number.
• Cardamom - 2 number.
• Biryani phool - 1 number.
• Onions(slices) - 1/2 cup.
• Green chillies - 4 number.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Mint leaves - 1/2 bunch.
• Yogurt - 1 cup.
• Water - as required.
• Oil - 5 tablespoons.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Fried onions - 1/2 cup.
• Yellow colour - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Coriander leaves - 1/4 bunch.
Method:
  • Take a bowl and add blended mutton mince meat, garlic, salt, red chili powder, garam masala and mix nicely, make round balls by applying little oil to hands and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan add caraway seeds, bay leaf, star anise, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom, biryani phool and saute it.
  • Add onions, green chillies, ginger garlic paste, mint leaves, coriander leaves, kheema balls and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Add yogurt, little water and place lid cook for 8-10 minutes.
  • Boil water in another pan with little salt and add basmati rice and cook it until 70-80% done.
  • Transfer into strainer and spread it on kheema balls mixture and squeeze lime juice.
  • On its top add fried onions, lemon yellow colour and place lid cook it first on slow flame and later on high flame if required place tawa on bottom for 15 minutes.

Now keema Mutti Biryani is ready to serve.
