Ingredients used in MILK CHIROTI
• Maida - 2 cups.
• Semolina - 1 cup.
• Ghee - 3 tablespoons.
• Sugar - 2 cups.
• Cardamom powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Rice flour - 1/4 cup.
• Oil - to fry.
• Milk (boiled) - 500 ml.
• Safforn - 1 tea spoon.
Method:
  • In a bowl add maida, semolina, ghee mix it and by adding required water make it like a chapati dough and rest it for 15-20 minutes.
  • In a pan, heat some water add sugar, cardamom powder and make it like a gulab jamun syrup.
  • Now roll the rested dough into thin sheets and layer them by spreading ghee and rice flour.
  • Roll the sheets and cut it into small pieces, then make them like small puris and fry them in a medium heat oil till they get a nice color.
  • In another bowl add milk, saffron color mix and keep aside.
  • Now put the fried chirotis in sugar syrup for 2-3 minutes.
  • In the serving bowl arrange the chirotis and from the top of it pour the milk and serve.

why are you calling doodh ki chiroti again n again? this is not a north Indian dish... why we have to use hindi word to get the kind of recognition? I liked the recipe very much btw, just that word was disturbing in between.?
