SCHEZWAN PARATHA

Ingredients used in SCHEZWAN PARATHA
• Wheat flour - 1 cup.
• Oil - 3 tablespoon.
• Salt - to taste.
• Onion(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Cabbage(chopped) - 1/2 cup.
• Carrot(grated) - 1/4 cup.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Vinegar - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Soya sauce - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Red chili paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Potato(boiled and mashed) - 1 cup.
• Tomato ketchup - 1 tea spoon.
• Star anise powder - 1 pinch.
Method:
  • Take a bowl and add wheat flour, 1 tablespoon oil, salt, water and mix thoroughly to make the dough.
  • Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a pan and add onion, salt, cabbage, carrots and cook it for 2 minutes with lid on it.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, vinegar, soya sauce, red chili paste, potato and mix thoroughly.
  • Switch off the flame, add tomato ketchup and mix nicely.
  • Add star anise powder and mix the stuffing.
  • Divide the dough into small portions and make the poori.
  • Stuff the mixture and seal it, later roll the paratha.
  • Heat the tawa and cook it on both sides using oil.

Now the schezwan paratha is ready to serve with simple salad.
