Ingredients used in Urad Dal And Raw Mango Chutney
• Urad dal - 1/2 cup.
• Coriander seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Cumin seeds - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Dry red chillies - 5-6 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Raw mango (pieces) - 1/2 cup.
• Green chillies - 4 numbers.
• Water - as required.
• Yellow cucumber (pieces) - 1/2 cup.
Method:
  • Peel the yellow cucumber and cut into pieces.
  • Heat in a pan, add urad dal. And add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chillies dry roast it for 3-4 minutes in slow flame.
  • Rest it for 2 minutes. Transfer to the mixie jar and add salt grind to coarse powder.
  • To it add raw mango pieces, green chillies, salt, and add some water blend it into a coarse paste.
  • Transfer to a bowl, add cucumber pieces and mix it nicely.

Now the Urad Dal Raw Mango Chutney is ready to serve.

I tried this method..but it's giving me bitter taste ..initially initial thought it was mango.i re-did the whole thing without mango yet got bitter taste...and ultimately I had to add roasted peanuts to cut down bitterness...any idea why it happe
