Recipe of sabudana wada

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Salt To Taste
Lime Juice 1 Teaspoons
Coriander Leaves 1/2 Bunch
Mint Leaves 1/2 Bunch
Boiled Potato 1 Numbers
Ground Nuts 50 Grams
Sabudana 200 Grams
Oil To Fry
Green Chillies 6 Numbers
Black Peppers 10-15 Numbers


1. soak the sabudana in just enough water and keep it aside for 1 hr. Make sure that there is not much of moisture, otherwise you wont get proper wada. Blend 3/4th of the sabudana into a course paste. Do not add water. 2. fry the ground nuts in a pan and peal them off after they cool down. 3. In a blender add the ground nuts, green chillies, mint leaves, coriander leaves, little salt and lime juice and blend them to a course paste. 4. Add the above mixture into the sabudana. 5. Grate the potatoes and add to the mixture. 6. Add salt and black pepper powder. 7. Make small patties and shallow/deep fry in oil. 8. Serve hot with mint chutney.
