I tried out the sambhar podi recipe, and the 1/4 cup of fenugreek seeds makes it a tad too bitter. Probably should have used 1/8 cup.

Hi. In my country only whole green moong daal is available. Can I use that instead of split moong daal?

I am very sorry I missed on the part of adding turmeric. We are not using whole turmeric here, but powdered turmeric. So when you are done grinding the whole spices to a fine powder, add the turmeric powder and grind until it is evenly mixed. Thank you.

The recipe never states when to add the Turmeric, should we add at the very end or mix in after grinding the whole spice?
