Ingredients used in Shimla Mirchi Paneer Makhani
• Oil - 1 tablespoon.
• Garlic(chopped) - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Ginger(chopped) - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Green chillies - 3 numbers.
• Onions(chopped) - 1 number.
• Green bell pepper, - 1-2 numbers.
• Salt - to taste.
• Coriander leaves - 1/4 bunch.
• Cashew nuts - 8 numbers.
• Butter - 1 tablespoon.
• Kasuri methi - 1 tea spoon.
• Coriander powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Cumin powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Garam masala - 1 pinch.
• Turmeric powder - 1 pinch.
• Paneer(pieces) - 1/2 cup.
• Lime juice - 1 tea spoon.
• Fresh cream - 1 tablespoon.
• Garlic - 4-5 cloves.
Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan and add garlic cloves, ginger, green chillies, onions and saute it.
  • Add green bell pepper, salt, coriander leaves, cashew nuts and saute it.
  • Transfer into blender and make a smooth green paste.
  • Heat butter in a pan and add garlic, kasuri methi and saute it.
  • To it add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, green paste, little water and mix it, cook for 3 minutes
  • Add paneer pieces check for seasoning and add lime juice, fresh cream mix nicely.
  • Transfer into serving bowl and garnish with fresh cream.

Now shimala mirchi paneer makhani is ready to serve with naan, lacha paratha.

How you can make paneer:

Paneer is a lot easier than other cheese to make at home.
