This is a simple fish tawa fry recipe. You can either Use Bhangada Fish, Catla Fish or Rohu Fish. If Bhangada Use the Full Fish (or) if its Catla / Rohu Cut into Slices.

If 1 Kg bhangada you might get (6-8 fish) depending on the size. if it is catla or rohu ( one fish will easily weigh 1.5 Kg) Wash the Fish, Add salt and Turmeric Powder to the fish and wash it throughly. Take a container Add Red Chili Powder, Sambar Powder, Salt , Squeez Lemon juice and some water Mix them well as a thick paste Apply this paste to the fish and allow it to marinate for at least 15 - 20 minutes Heat Tawa, spread some oil, Put the marinated fish two or three at a time. While its getting fried, pore 3 - 5 drops of oil on the fish, toss it on the other side fry it for 2-3minutes in medium flame till it releases oil and its ready to eat.
The recipe was an accident, Was late night and was back from holidays. Was feeling like eating fish. so on the way picked up bhangada fish. Was preparing fish and was falling short of chili powder, so i added sambar powder, added lemon and salt. later i found that oil was also very less. so tried tawa fry. i Really enjoyed the fish. later i prepared it on many occasions, and everybody have complimented me. I have also taught it to my family members. I saw your videos, i like the passion you got for cooking. so felt like sharing this dish.
