Recipe of spicy potato puris

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Potatoes 225 Grams
Rifiend Oil 225 Grams
Cumin 1/2 Teaspoons
Onion 55 Grams
Coriander Leaves 1/4 Bunch
Garam Masala 1/2 Teaspoons
Salt To Taste
Fat To Mix 10 Grams
Fat To Deep Fry 30 Grams


1. Boil, peel and mash potatoes. 2. mix thoroughly with sieved flour, cumin, garam Masala, chopped onion, coriander and salt.

3. add fat and mix well to from a dough adding a little water if necessary.

4. divide the dough into small balls and roll thjem, out like ordianry puris put about 0.75 cm (1/4'') thick.

5. Heat fat. when smoking hot, deep fry the puris until golden brown on both sides

6. Remove and drain on absorbent paper.
