This is a very good site which I have come across especially the videos demos. Keep it up. It would be better if you include more of fish dishes in videos demos as it will make people like me(fish-lovers) very happy.

Hi, In your website please include recipes that are related to health of physical body and mind, if possible. Some examples are: a) Naturopathic diet/food : food as medicine. b) vegan food. c) Yogic food: Yoga differentiates food as Satvic, rajasic and tamasic. Thanks, Swaminathan.

Suggestion :
1)use lemon juice and add yogurt 2) add milk slowly or well beated yoghurt about half a cup or more on taste basis 3) adding either tomato puree or just good old tomato sauce helps cool it down 4) add coconut milk or cream to make it milder. if you are allergic to it, you could add unsweetened evaporated milk.5)sieve the curry with raita, sour cream with diced cucumber, coriander or parsley, salt, pepper and lime juice, and flat breads, they combat the over spiciness 6) adding honey works very well or a teeny bit of baking soda 7) Put some raw potatoes and let the curry boil, the starch in the potato will bring down the spice level

Hi Sanjay, I want to thank for posting the Chicken Tikka . The receipe came out very well , but one thing is that as the smoke started comigmn out of the oven the Fire alarm started ringing. I got panic and did not enjoy the delicious chicken tikka, although I kept the windows open and switched the fan ON the fire alarm still started ringing. Please suggest me.

Sanjay,I like your shows very much,as I was watching I felt that you should use little bit of American terminology when you are telling about your ingredients, (tell what they call those ingredients in US). For Eg instead of corriander leaves , you could have told fresh Cilantro, coz not only Indians every one must be inspired to cook your recipies.

To make the fried chicken pieces:- Take chicken pieces in a non reactive bowl-(We use dark meat so that it is nice and juicy when fried).Add salt, Aji-no-moto,1 tsp ginger/garlic paste, pepper powder-pinch, cornflour and mix-Then add 1 egg and mix in completely-(Egg coats the meat and keeps the juices in) Heat oil in a frying wok or kadhai-Add chicken pieces few at a time(Do not crowd the kadhai) and fry until lightly golden brown-Drain and remove on a paper towel To make the sauce:-This does not need to be very salty-so control salt Heat 2-3 tsp oil in a pan-Add cumin, add the chopped ginger and garlic and suate until fragrant-Add chopped chillies, curry leaves,1 tsp ginger/garlic paste, remaining pepper powder, chilli powder, salt,chilli/garlic paste, aji-no-moto, red color and mix-Cook for a few minutesAdd a little water and then add chicken to this paste and toss lightly-Stir in the coriander leaves and serve
