Recipe of TAMARIND SAUCE

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
(finely Chopped) Pitted Dates 5 Numbers
Salt To Taste
Chilli Powder 1 Teaspoons
Imli (tamarind) Juice 8 Tablespoons
Jaggery (gud) 2 Cup
Garam Masala 1 Teaspoons
Cumin Powder 1 Teaspoons

Directions

1.Mix the tamarind juice with the jaggery and the spice powders adding salt to taste.
2.Add the chopped dates. Bring to the boil - reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 10 minutes.
3.Allow to cool and mash nicely to a puree.

That is no nice of you to post the recipe which i requested. But sad i didn't notice it until today.

But what about Banadans? Don't you also add banana on top?

can i add sugar instead of gud?
