how to make mixture * First take cumin seeds and black pepper in the mixer jar and allow to mixer . * Then add garlic cloves and green chillies to the content and allow all those four item mix once again *Then add tomato pieces and coriander of 1/2 bunch and then allow all the ingredients mix bt dont let it mix fine let it be small small pieces * Keep the mixture a side. * Now start the flame with bowl add oil 3 to 4 table spoons when it got heated up add cumin seeds, curry leaves, red chillies and then add the mixture we kept a side let it fry for 3 to 4 min and then add tamarind juice and jaggery and add water so that it must become like rasam now add salt and now let the rasam boil for some time but dont allow to cook more (because if u cook more all the contents will go down and wen u serve only tasty water will remain on up) and now off the stove and garnish with coriander . * Ready to serve
Atually i am vegitarian ,once on vacation i went to my brother home in chennai,their one tamil aunty gave lot of varieties on chirstmas celebrations which are all nonveg items she gave this rasam very hot and this is the only veg item she gave i eat this one with rice this is realy yummy
