Description: used as a spread on dosa to make karam dosa with ghee

Recipe of Ulli karam (Erra karam)

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
Salt To Taste
Oil some To Fry
Peeled Garlic Pods 3-4 Numbers
Red Dried Chillies 6-8 Numbers
Chopped Onions 1 Big
Curry Leaves 10 Numbers
Tamarind Extract some Teaspoons


Heat oil in a pan, and add onions, red chillies, curry leaves and garlic pods and fry till golden brown. Remove from heat & let cool to room temperature. Blend into a fine paste with tamarind, salt.
