Recipe of vada curry

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
curry leaves  5 Numbers
garam masala powder  1/2 Teaspoons
coriander powder  1 Teaspoons
chilli powder  1/2 Teaspoons
tomato(finely chopped)  1 Numbers
onion(finely chopped)  1 Numbers
salt to taste  
fennel seeds  1/2 Teaspoons
hing  1 Pinch
red chilli  2 Numbers
channa dhal  1 Cup
coriander leaves to garnish  
mustard seeds  1/2 Teaspoons
ginger garlic paste  1/2 Teaspoons
coconut milk  1 Cup

Directions
First to make vadai: Soak channa dhal along with redchilli for 3 hrs,Grind it coarsely with salt,fennel seeds and hing.Make small balls of it and deep fry it as usual as we make parippu vadai.Let it cool To make the curry: In a hot pan put two tbsp of oil and when it gets heated add mustard seeds,an d when they crackle add onions,ginger garlic paste and turmeric powder and saute till the raw smell goes.Meantime make the vadai into small pieces.Then add the tomatoes,little salt and fry till tomatoes get mashed .then add all the powders and saute for 1 minute in a low flame and add some water.When it boils add the vadais,the vadais will absorb all moisture soon,so keep it in a low flame.As soon as the vadai start absorbing water,add the coconut milk and let it simmer for 5 min.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with idli,appam .
