Recipe of Vellari red curry

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
cucumber  225 Grams
red chillies  20 Grams
coconut oil  15 ml
mustard seeds  1/2 Teaspoons
tamarind  10 Grams
fenugreek  1/2 Teaspoons
turmeric  1/4 Teaspoons
water  600 ml
salt   To Taste

Directions

1.Roast red chillies and fenugreek seeds .powder fine. 2 . Peel and cut cucumber in to 2 inch cubes . 3. Soak tamarind in water ,extract pulp .4 . Heat oil.Add mustrd seeds and then powdered spice and turmeric .Fry well .5. Add tamarind ,water,salt and cucumber pieces .6. Bring to boil.Simmer till cucumber is cooked .
