- First, clean up the fish and give gashes on both sides.
- Take a bowl, add oil, black pepper powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice, mix this well.
- To it, add ginger garlic paste and apply this masala mixture to the fish on both sides, rest for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Heat a pan, add marinated fish, cook it for 7 minutes on both sides on a slow flame then pour the oil on top of the fish, cook it for few minutes.
Serve this hot with rice, sambar.
