Ingredients used in Aloo Ki Tikki
• (slightly ground) - to taste.
• Roasted groundnuts - to taste.
• Chat masala - 1 tablespoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 tablespoons.
• Red chilly powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Coriander leaves - to taste.
• Green chillies - to taste.
• Onion - 1 numbers.
• Bread crumbs - 2 tablespoons.
• Potatoes(cooked) - 6 numbers.
• Salt - - to taste.
• Refined oil - to fry.
• Cabbage(finely chopped) for garnishing - to taste.
Method:
1)Cut the cooked potatoes into halves.

2)Add bread crumbs, green chillies, onions, coriander powder, chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder, roasted groundnuts and chat masala.

3)Mix them together, till they get blended well.

4)Make small balls off the above mixture and flatten them a bit.

5)Heat a little oil in a pan.

6)Put the above tikkis into the oil and shallow fry, till they become golden brown and crispy.

:- Serve with finely cut cabbage and coriander chutney.
:- You can cook the potatoes in a pressure cooker upto 4 whistles.

u can use corn flour as a binding agent....u can also make breadcrumbs at home by toasting the bread until it gets really hard and crispy....u can crush the bread into really small crumbs too!
