Ingredients of Aloo Ki Tikki

Ingredient Name Quantity Unit
(slightly ground)   To Taste
Roasted groundnuts   To Taste
Chat masala  1 Tablespoons
Turmeric powder  1/4 Tablespoons
Red chilly powder  2 Tablespoons
Coriander leaves   To Taste
Green chillies   To Taste
Onion  1 Numbers
Bread crumbs  2 Tablespoons
Potatoes(cooked)  6 Numbers
Salt -   To Taste
Refined oil   To Fry
Cabbage(finely chopped) for garnishing   To Taste


Directions
1)Cut the cooked potatoes into halves.

2)Add bread crumbs, green chillies, onions, coriander powder, chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder, roasted groundnuts and chat masala.

3)Mix them together, till they get blended well.

4)Make small balls off the above mixture and flatten them a bit.

5)Heat a little oil in a pan.

6)Put the above tikkis into the oil and shallow fry, till they become golden brown and crispy.

:- Serve with finely cut cabbage and coriander chutney.
:- You can cook the potatoes in a pressure cooker upto 4 whistles.
