Ingredients used in Apple and Cranberry Country Bread
• Flour - 2 cup.
• Baking powder - 1 1/4 teaspoons.
• Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Salt - 1 teaspoons.
• Butter - 1/2 cup.
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Eggs - 2 numbers.
• Vanilla - 1 teaspoons.
• Grated orange peel - 2 teaspoons.
• Milk - 1/4 cup.
• Apple, peeled, cored and coarsely chopped - 1 numbers.
• Dried cranberries - 1 cup.
Method:
In medium bowl combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, set aside. In mixing bowl, beat butter with sugar until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Beat in eggs, vanilla and orange peel until blended, scraping sides occasionally. Alternately beat in flour mixture and milk until just blended. Stir in apple and cranberries. Turn into prepared pan. Bake 55 minutes or until toothpick in center comes out clean. On wire rack cool 20 minutes and then remove from pan and cool completely. To make this recipe parve, use parve margarine instead of butter and non-dairy creamer instead of milk.
