Ingredients used in ARBI Chips (Shama Dumpa chips)
• Oil to fry - 100 grams.
• Curry leaves - 10 clove.
• Cashews - 10 piece.
• Garlic & cumin paste - 1 tablespoons.
• Chilli powder - 2 tablespoons.
• Arbi - 1 lbs.
• Salt - 1 to taste.
Method:
1) Take big size Arbi#39;s and Peel them and put them in the water 2) Take the basic slicer and slice this peeled arbi#39;s like potato chips and put them in the water as you slice 3) wash them 2 or 3 times and drain the water 4) Heat the oil in a tawa for deep drying the slices as same way potato chips 5) deep fry the arbi#39;s until light brown color 6) remove this fried arbis from the oil and keep them aside 7) fry cashews to light brown color and remove them from the oil 8) Take big pan and put little bit of oil then add curry leaves, garlic cumin paste and fry them for 2 mins and turn off the heat and immediately add chilli powder,salt ,fried arbis,cashews and toss them 9) eat it with rice or like a snack.. no one will belive that this snack is made with arbis... they look like small potato chips.
