Ingredients used in BADAM PHIRNI
• Kewra essence - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Green cardamom (crushed) - 1 teaspoons.
• Milk - 2 cup.
• Rice - 2 tablespoons.
• Blanched almonds (sliced) - 1/4 cup.
• Sugar - 3 tablespoons.
  • Soak rice in water for few hours, then drain water and grind rice into a smooth paste.
  • In a non-stick saucepan bring milk. Over a moderatly low heat add rice, sugar and cardamom and stir constantly till milk turns thick.
  • Remove from heat and add almonds.
  • Put in serving bowl and chill.

    I always made phirni but it never turned out like this.... I always put too much rice... this was a perfect recipe.... thanks!
