Ingredients used in Basboosah
• Baking powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Vegetable oil - 1 cup.
• Desiccated coconut - 1/2 cup.
• Soft semolina - 2 cup.
• Sweetened condensed milk - 1 can.
• Nuts of your choice (to garnish) - 1/2 cup.
Method:

Preheat the oven to 180ordm; C 356ordm; F. Grease a large rectangular pan with oil. In a medium sized bowl, mix the condensed milk, semolina, butter, coconut and baking powder. Pour in the pan and spread it with a spoon. Garnish with nuts and bake it for 30 minutes/ until nice and golden in color.(Keep checking after 20 minutes thru the glass) Drizzle with sugar syrup (very less) and set it aside to cool. (Only if u need- but it tastes better with sugar syrup) Cut into squares and serve.
