BASIC TOMATO SPAGHETTI

Ingredients used in BASIC TOMATO SPAGHETTI
• Spaghetti - 100 grams.
• Olive oil - 2 tablespoon.
• Garlic (chopped) - 3 cloves.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Tomatoes (blanched) - 4 numbers.
• Tomato puree - 3 tablespoon.
• Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon.
• Sugar - ½ tea spoon.
• Vinegar - ½ tea spoon.
• Chili flakes - ½ tea spoon.
• Pepper powder - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Oregano - 1/4 tea spoon.
• Thyme - 1 pinch.
• Rosemary - 1 pinch.
• Bell pepper (red and green) each - ½ piece.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Boil water and add salt(to taste) then spaghetti, cook till 80% done.
  • Heat olive oil in a pan, add chopped garlic, chopped onions, salt, blanched tomatoes (removed skin and finely chopped), tomato puree, tomato ketchup, sugar, vinegar, chili flakes, pepper powder along with 1 cup of water and cook for 3 minutes till it comes to a thick consistency.
  • Now add oregano, thyme, rosemary, chopped red and green bell pepper pieces. Reduce the flame and cook till it thick.
  • Now add the cooked pasta mix it slowly. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
