Ingredients used in Beef Vindaloo
• Beef - 1000 grams.
• Oil - 1 cup.
• Black mustard seeds - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Vinegar - 1 cup.
• Green chilies - 4-5 numbers.
• Cube ginger - 1 numbers.
• Turmeric - 1 teaspoons.
• Salt - 2 teaspoons.
• Curry leaves - to taste.
• Red chillies - 20 numbers.
• Garlic puree - 1 tablespoons.
• Ginger paste - 1 tablespoons.
• Cumin - 2 teaspoons.
• Black mustard seeds - 2 teaspoons.
• Onion - 1 large.
• Cinnamon - 2 stricks.
• Cloves - 3-4 numbers.
Wash and cut the beef into cubes, Heat oil season with mustard. Add sliced onions chilies and ginger and fry till dry. Add ground spices with turmeric powder and fry till the oil starts separating. Add meat and curry leaves and mix well. Fry for 5 minutes. Add vinegar and salt and cover and cook on a very low heat for 1 hour till the meat is tender. Alternatively you can pressure cook for 40 minutes. Do not add any water.

Excellent recipe. Lovely dry curry, easy to make. I am going to try it with Chicken as there is no chicken vindaloo recipe on here.
