Ingredients used in Beetroot Masala Chicken
• Coriander seeds - 1 tablespoon.
• Pepper corns - 1 tablespoon.
• Whole garam masala - 2 number.
• Oil - as required.
• Chicken - 1 cup.
• Beetroot (chopped) - 2 number.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Green chilies (chopped) - 2 number.
• Salt - to taste.
• Desiccated coconut powder - 1 tablespoon.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Red chili powder - 1 tea spoon.
• Baby onions - 6 number.
• Tomato (chopped) - 2 number.
• Coriander leaves (chopped) - 1/2 bunch.
Method:
  • Dry roast coriander seeds, peppercorn, whole garam masala spices, transfer into a mortar, pestle them and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add chicken pieces,fry well and keep aside.
  • Repeat the same process withbeetroot pieces and keep aside.
  • In the same pan, add chopped onions, curry leaves, chopped green chilies, salt,desiccated coconut powder, ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, baby onions and cooktill onions turn tender.
  • Now add chopped tomato pieces, pestled masala powder, saute well, add fried chicken, chopped coriander leaves, fried beetrootpieces and toss it well.

Hot and delicious Beetroot Masala Chickenis now ready to serve.
