Ingredients used in Black Masala Chicken Fry
• Chicken - 500 grams.
• Coriander seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Cumin seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Black cardamom - 3 number.
• Star anise - 3 number.
• Cinnamon stick (1 inch) - 2-3 number.
• Kalonji - 1 tea spoon.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tea spoon.
• Peppercorns - 1 tea spoon.
• Cloves - 5 number.
• Brown onion - 1 tablespoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Turmeric powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Water - as required.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Coriander leaves - 1 bunch.
• Mint leaves - 1 bunch.
• Salt - to taste.
• Curd - 1 cup.
Method:
  • Dry roast coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black cardamom, star anise, cinnamon stick, kalonji, mustard seeds, peppercorns, cloves.
  • Then grind them to a fine powder by even adding brown onion.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add chicken and cook it till color changes to slightly brown in color.
  • Now, season it with turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, curry leaves, coriander and mint leaves, salt (to taste), curd, let it cook for 3 more minutes with closed lid.
  • After that sprinkle ground masala powder along with water and fry for few more minutes.

DeliciousBlack Masala Chicken Fry is now ready to serve.
