Ingredients used in Black Puttu Rice Halwa
• Cashews - .
• Sugar - 1 cup.
• Water - 1.5 cup.
• Whole milk - 1.5 cup.
• Black puttu rice (whole) - 1 cup.
• Ghee - 2 tablespoons.
• Coconut grated - 0.25 cup.
Method:
Soak the rice overnight. Drain the water and pressure cook the rice with milk and water for about 20 mins. Add the sugar and coconut and cook until it gets the ahlwa consistency( for about 10 mins). In a separate pan heat the ghee and fry the cashews until golden brown. Add the Cashews and ghee to the halwa mix and serve.
