Ingredients used in Boondhi Burfi
• Chickpea flour - 1 can.
• Salt - as required.
• Water - as required.
• Oil - to fry.
• Jaggery - 1/2 cup.
• Water - 2 tablespoons.
• Ghee - 1/4 cup.
• Cashew nuts - 10 number.
• Cardomom powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
Method:
  • First, take a bowl, add chickpea flour, salt and by adding water make it into a thin batter.
  • Now heat oil in a pan, pour the batter and cook the boondhi until it gets a light golden color and keep aside.
  • Then take another pan, add jaggery, add some water and melt it till it gets a thick texture.
  • To that add ghee, cashew nuts and mix well.
  • Take a bhoondi add cardamom powder, mix and transfer into a jaggery syrup and mix well.
  • Now take a mold, pour the mixture, put the gashes and allow it cool for 15-20 mins.
  • Finally cut the burfi into pieces and serve.
