Bottle Gourd Curry With Sesame Seeds

Ingredients used in Bottle Gourd Curry With Sesame Seeds
• Coriander powder - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Water - as required.
• Coconut powder (optional) - 1 tea spoon.
• Oil - as required.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tea spoon.
• Curry leaves - 2 springs.
• Turmeric powder - pinch.
• Green chillies (chopped) - 4 number.
• Onion (chopped) - 1 number.
• Urad dal - 1 tea spoon.
• Sesame seeds - 2 tablespoons.
• Bottle gourd (cut into small pieces) - 1 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
Method:
  • Dry roast sesame seed till golden brown in color then add coconut powder(optional) and grind into a coarse powder.
  • Take a pan heat oil, add urad dal, saute it.
  • Then add onions chopped, salt and saute it then add turmeric, ginger garlic paste, green chilies, curry leaves saute it.
  • In the same pan, add small pieces of bottle gourd, salt and mix well add some water and close it with a lid.
  • Cook the bottle gourd till it is 80% done then add the sesame seeds powder, coriander powder saute it again and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
