Ingredients used in Broccoli rice
• Broccoli - 500 grams.
• Basmati rice - 500 grams.
• Onion - 2 .
• Coriander - .5 bunch.
• Mint - .5 bunch.
• Cinnamon, cardamon, black cardamon - .
• Clove,bayleaf,jeera - .
• Curd - 5 tbsp .
• Cashew nuts - 10 .
• Curry leaf - 7 leaf.
• Ghee - 3 tbsp .
Method:
Soak basmati rice for 30 mins. Cook them in a pan with required salt and keep aside. In kadai to hot oil add cinnamon, cardamon, black cardamon, clove , bayleaf, curry leaf. add chopped onions to it. In mixer grind cashew nuts, cardamon, cinamon, clove, mint and coriander. Add these mix to the browned onions and mix well in kadai. Shred broccoli which is cleaned using salted hot water. add these broccoli to the kadai. mix well for 3 mins. add required salt only for broccoli(not for rice) and add the basmati boiled rice and well. garnish with chopped coriander and mint leaves. add ghee to it(optional)
