Ingredients used in Carrot Pickle
• Chillie powder - 1 tablespoons.
• Coumin - 1 teaspoons.
• Carrots - 1 lbs.
• Mustard oil - 1 cup.
• Mustard seeds - 1 tablespoons.
• Salt - 2 tablespoons.
• Turmeric - 1 tablespoons.
  • Scrape the carrots. Wash and cut or slice into 1/2 thick pieces.
  • Heat the oil and remove from the fire.
  • Add mustard, turmeric,and cumin to the hot oil.
  • Add carrots, chili powder, and salt. Cool and pack in jars and leave in a warm, sunny place for 10 days before using as an accompaniment to a meal.

Hello, I love carrot pickle. But living in Amsterdam, Netherlands and it's winter time, do you have any other alternative to skip the "Ten (days) in Sun" process.

Hi, This is really one of great receipe site that I ever know. I think in carrot pickle, Lemon juice should be added to the pickle as I know. what do you think? Thanks for so many reciple, I will try all
