Ingredients used in Cauliflower gravy bhaji
• Red chilli powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Garam masala - 1 teaspoons.
• Cumin (jeera) seeds - 1 teaspoons.
• Garlic finely chopped - 3 clove.
• Mint leaves finely chopped leaves - 1/4 cup.
• Tomato puree - 3 tablespoons.
• Cauliflower - 1 piece.
• Green chillies chopped - 1 numbers.
• Sauf (fennel) powder - 1 teaspoons.
• Water - 1 cup.
• Oil - 2 tablespoons.
Method:
Cut the cauliflower pieces to the size you like. You may keep the pieces a little big. Cook the cauliflower in microwave for 5 mins. Stand for abt 10 mins Meanwhile, take oil in a vessel. Fry cumin, garlic n chopped green chillies. Once done, switch off gas and add the dry masalas. Saute well. Add the tomato puree and cook again till the puree starts boiling and oil separates a little. Then add 1 cup water, chopped mint leaves. Boil for abt 8 mins. Add the flower pieces and mix well with the gravy to coat. Cook for about 5-7 mins covered till the flower pieces are firm and cooked. Switch off gas and remove cover so as to avoid flower from cooking further.
