Ingredients used in Chai
• Water - 500 ml.
• Whole milk - 500 ml.
• Green cardamoms (choti ilaichi) - 5-6 numbers.
• Black tea - 3 teaspoons.
• Sugar - to taste.
  • Take a pot, add the water. Set the pot on the stove over medium heat and bring the water to a boil.
  • Lightly crush the cardamoms and add them in the water.
  • Add the tea leaves or tea bags and let it simmerfor about 2 minutes on medium heat. Or until the tea absorbs well in the water and the water turns black.
  • Add the milk to the tea water and bring it to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and strain the tea into tea cups. Add prefered amount of sugar.

Serve hot.
