Ingredients used in chana dall
• Hing - pinch.
• Mustard seed - 1 teaspoons.
• Ghee - 2 tablespoons.
• Black pepper - 4-5 numbers.
• Clove - 3 numbers.
• Cumin seed - 1 teaspoons.
• Fennel seed (saunf) - 3 teaspoons.
• Garlic paste - 2 teaspoons.
• Gingre paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Green chilli paste - 1 teaspoons.
• Tomato - 1.5 numbers.
• Chana dall - 3/4 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Red chilli powder - to taste.
• Coriander powder - 3 teaspoons.
• Water - .
• Coriander leaves - .
Method:
Wash and pressur cook dall ,till soft. Dry raost cumin seed,sauf,pepper,cloveamp;make a corse powder. In a pan heat ghee,add mustard seed,when it start popping add hing amp;turmeric powder. now add tomato cook till soft. Add ginger garlic pasteamp;green chilli. Add all dry masalaamp;little amount of water,mix well, cook for some time. Now add your dall, mix well. Add enough water,bring to boil. Add coriander leaves,and your dall is ready to eat. serve with parathas.
