Chapli Kababs Recipe, How To Make Chapli Kababs Recipe

Chapli kebab is a traditional dish from the Pakistani cuisine, Chapli kebab is a pattie made from beef mince and is one of the popular barbecue meals in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Chapli kebab is flat round in shape and is prepared with minced beef or lamb meat, green chillies, egg, fresh herbs like mint and coriander leaves and spices.

Ingredients used in Chapli Kababs
• Mince meat (beef or lamb) - 500 grams.
• Red chilli powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Roasted whole coriander seeds - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Roasted coriander seeds, coarsely ground - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Green chillies, chopped finely - 3 numbers.
• Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Jeera powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Onion, finely chopped - 1 numbers.
• Finely chopped spring onion - 1/4 cup.
• Finely chopped coriander leaves - 1 1/2 cup.
• Finely chopped mint leaves - 1/2 cup.
• Salt - to taste.
• Egg - 1 numbers.
• Oil - to fry.
  1. Mix well all the ingredients in the mince except oil
  2. Keep aside for 1/2 hour
  3. Roll the mixture in round balls, approx (1 1/2 tbsp of mixture for each ball)
  4. Flatten (press by palms) the balls
  5. Heat oil for shallow frying
  6. Shallow fry the kababs till golden brown from both the sides
  7. Serve hot with breads
