Ingredients used in Cheese toast with Indian variations
• Molaka podi (spicy powder such as used for dosa and idli) - 1 teaspoons.
• Grated cheese, such as cheddar - 4 ounces.
• Sliced white bread - 4 slice.
• Yogurt chilis - 2 numbers.
• Butter - 1 tablespoons.
Method:
Toast the bread lightly, and butter all slices on one side. Top with the grated cheese, and grill until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with molaka podi, or crushed deep-fried yogurt chilis for a delicious and piquant snack with an Indian touch.
