Ingredients used in CHICKEN FATTEH
• Chicken (boiled and without bones) - 1450 grams.
• Semne - 2 teaspoons.
• Crushed garlic - 3 teaspoons.
• Chick-peas(seeds)(boiled) - 1 cup.
• Toasted bread - 1 cup.
• Pine - 2 teaspoons.
• Lime juice - 2 teaspoons.
• Tahini - 3 teaspoons.
• Youghurt - 2 cup.
Method:
Put the semne in a pot and on the fire,and when it melts we add the pieces of chicken. After a few minutes we add the garlic,chick-peas and the pine and we mix them very well. When the ingredients starts to stick at the bottom of the pot,we add the lime juice and the t,heeneh. Mix all the ingredients,and add a pinch of salt. Put the toasted bread in a vessel and put on it the chicken,and then pour the youghurt at the top. Fry the pine in the semne and pour them over the fatteh. Sprinkle if you want some dried mint.
