Ingredients used in Chicken Puri
• Lime - 1/2 numbers.
• Finely chopped coriander leaves - little tablespoons.
• Finely chopped curry leaves - 1 springs.
• Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoons.
• Chilli powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Chapathi aata - 1/2 cup.
• All purpose flour - 1/2 cup.
• Oil - 500 ml to fry.
• Salt - some to taste.
• Finely chopped green chillies - 4 numbers.
• Finely chopped onions - small 1/2 numbers.
• Chicken keema - 1 cup.
• Curds - 1 tablespoons.
• Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tablespoons.
• Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
• Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoons.
Method:
Marinate chicken keema with salt, chilli powder, pepper powder,little turmeric, garam masala powder, very little ginger garlic paste, little curds amp; keep aside. Mix equal amt of maida amp; chapathi aatta with little salt, oil amp; then add some water make a puri dough amp; set aside. Heat some oil in a pan, add onions,chillies, curry leaves amp; fry till light brown, add ginger garlic paste amp; fry for a min.add the marinated chicken amp; fry till nicely cooked. add some lime juice, garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves amp; keep aside. Make puris with the dough, take a puri amp; spread some chicken filling on it, take another puri amp; cover it amp; seal the edges ( i.e chicken filling sandwiched between two puries). Deep fry in oil amp; serve.
